Zaragoza Museum: From Old to New

The Saint Luis Royal Academy of Arts has established the museum of Zaragoza. This museum remains one of the oldest in Spain that resembles the contemporary arts. The essay paper on this prominent museum may refer us to the year of 1846.  And that is what official site says about first exhibits in this gallery: “Its exhibits were first displayed in San Pedro Nolasco (1835-36), then in the convent of Santa Fe (1846), then in Santo Domingo, and finally in their current home in the plaza de los Sitios in 1911, in a building built in 1908”

The very building is a model of Aragonese Modernism. Many masters thesis writing papers were also dedicated to the content of exhibitions. There are also a lot of different sculptures of the artists whose works are represented here, among them are Forment, Goya, Pignatelli, Bruil.  The site provides the following about the inner construction: “Exhibits represent general cultural visions. The two main sections are Archaeology and Pictorial Art and are arranged in the chronological order. The third section, Ethnology” It is located in the Primo de Rivera park. This section is dedicated to the pottery art and it is possible to find some of the most contemporary master-pieces here.

Generally, in the museum of Zaragoza there is a chance to come across a unique piece of art which corresponds to different artists and epochs, starting from the Paleolithic to the modern tends in art.
